What is care-nursing, and how is it different from regular nursing ?
What is the nature and duration of the care-nursing programme ?
Each certificate program is a six-month course comprising of theory, simulation/experiential learning, along with practical training. Practical training is delivered in transition care centres/care homes/hospitals providing care in that specialised area.
The programme offers four specialisation options:
- Neuro-progressive and long-term care
- Neuro-critical and trauma rehabilitation
- Stroke Nursing
- Geriatric Nursing
What kind of career opportunities will I have after completing the programme?
You can pursue roles in specialised hospitals, transitional care centres, rehabilitation units, care homes, palliative and elder care, as well as in other international healthcare systems. There is a significant rise in demand of specialised care nursing in countries with aging population. We assist eligible students to gain access to overseas placement opportunities.
Do I need prior work experience to join ?
No. Fresh graduates can also join to enhance their skills before entering the workforce. Experienced nurses can also benefit by upgrading their expertise and unlocking global career opportunities. But every student has to go through screening exam and psychometric evaluation to assist for better selection of course and career pathway.
Is the programme online, offline, or blended ?
